Krys Derwinski is a musician, singer, teacher and has been MGC's music director since January 2020. In 2022 he initiated the very successful weekend of Georgian singing in Malmsbury, Central Victoria. Krys is greatly respected musician, teacher and workshop leader deeply involved in Georgian music. Everyone is welcome to explore this unique repertoire with us.
Newcomers to the choir are encouraged to attend the first workshops free of charge as a try out!

Newcomers to the choir can attend the first workshops in terms 1 and 2 free of charge as a try out!
Rehearsal resources will be made available via Dropbox.
Rehearsal materials include recordings of each part plus the parts combined, and sheet music.
Full day workshops will be organised early in each term to accelerate the learning and make the choir more accessible to those not living in Melbourne.
A supra - Georgian inspired feast - will be held at the end of each term.
